Weston Select Board Refers Regis Senior Housing Project to Planning Board
WESTON — February 10, 2026 — Weston Select Board refers Regis campus senior housing project to Planning Board and appoints three committee members. The board voted unanimously Tuesday to send HYM Investment Group's proposed 300 Wellesley Street senior living development — featuring up to 195 independent and assisted living units, a 10 percent affordability requirement yielding 20 affordable units, and a nine-unit-per-acre density cap — to the Planning Board for hearings, with the Town Meeting warrant deadline just five weeks out on March 24. Chair Lise N. Revers noted the project raises unresolved questions about Regis College's financial future and HYM's broader relationship to the campus, saying "the entire Regis campus is a very important piece of property in the town." The board also unanimously appointed Diana Chaplin and Siisi Adu-Gyamfi to the Housing Production Plan Steering Committee and Naidan "Rose" Li to the Sustainability Committee, while Permanent Building Committee Chair Jim Pallando said an approximately $5 million fire station design warrant article is being prepared for the May Town Meeting, with roughly $600,000 to $700,000 in existing funds available to advance design work in the meantime.
