Weston Select Board Sets November Special Town Meeting, Fills Committee Vacancy

WESTON — May 28, 2026 — Weston Select Board appoints Catherine Diver to Traffic and Sidewalk Committee and sets November 23 special town meeting. Town Manager Leon Gohman, in a May 28 Select Board Rewind episode, recapped the May 26 meeting, noting the board also voted to add a second member to the school building committee overseeing a high school and middle school facilities project. The Water Department received a Water System Award from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the eighth time in 11 years. Two items — a letter to the Friends of the Josiah Smith Tavern and revisions to the town manager evaluation form — were carried over to future meetings. The fall special town meeting will be held at the high school auditorium.
